Dear Uncle Clive (‘Olive’)

I still can’t believe that you won’t be there now for our family visits to Cardiff.

On so many occasions you were my first port of call, and the family member I saw on these Cardiff trips - usually as it was something car related!

So many memories with you growing up as a young child as my uncle. Then so many more as an adult when you were my uncle and friend. We’d talk about music mainly. I still have all the music memorabilia and autographs you got me from Stereophonics in the early days, where I was referred to as ‘Clive’s nephew’!

Christmas Day dinner and family fun were a staple for me for so many years, and then for Lizzie and the kids too. You and Jayne were much more than an Aunt and Uncle to us all.

I really hope you knew how much you meant to everyone. You had so many qualities to make you so special, to so many people.

I will really miss you my friend. Taken from us far too soon.

Lots of love David, Lizzie, Felix, Theo and Bea Xx
