MichaelLOFTUSMr Michael Loftus of Park Road, Waterfoot, died in Springfield Care Home, Oswaldtwistle, on Wednesday, January 25, aged 86 years. Born in Burnley, Michael moved to Park Road, Waterfoot, after his marriage. He lived there for over fifty years. He was employed as a car salesman at Skippers in Burnley and retired from Akzo Nobel in Bury. He enjoyed watching football and cricket and also going on holidays abroad. A service will be held at 12.15pm at Burnley crematorium on Monday, February 20, conducted by Father Simon Stamp. He leaves his wife Jean, daughters Michelle and her husband Dave, Debbie and her husband Tim, Tracy and her husband Philip, grandchildren Barney, Carrie, Josh and Jack, five great grandchildren and many friends. Family flowers only with donations in lieu to Cancer Research UK, Bacup Branch. Funeral Director: Anthony Johnson Funeral Services Ltd, Bacup.
