WilliamLEWINSBilly passed peacefully in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, on Tuesday 17th October aged 73 years, Billy who will be very sadly missed by all his family, wife Marian, son Steven and grandchildren William and Lily. Daughter in law Ashley and three brothers Frank, Jim, David, Nieces and Nephews.

Billy's funeral will be held on Friday 3rd November, 2:30pm, at Birtley Crematorium. All are welcome to attend the service and afterwards to Springwell Club for a Celebration of Billy's life.

Family flowers only, there will be a donation box for the Phoenix Unit Sunderland at the ceremony

I had the privilege of working with Billy for 17 years, a genuinely decent bloke and a true gentleman. I'm so sorry to learn he's no longer with us. RIP Bill.
