Grandad, you fought so hard, and without doubt it was your love for everyone else that kept you going. You kept going until your body gave up, you were strong, compassionate, kind, forgiving and my safe place. My heart will never recover from losing you in the way we did but that shows how loved you were. Always my grandad, forever my friend. Until we meet again, hold a place for me with you. ❤️

Although we have never met face to face, I have often heard your stories. I am sure that no one has the slightest bad thought about you. You have left behind a wonderful reputation, which is the goal of every virtuous person. Farewell, wonderful person.
