EleanorJONESThe heartbroken family of Eleanor Jones, nee Kennedy, would like to announce her passing on Wednesday 16th July aged 76.
Eleanor began her career as a reporter for the Kirkby Reporter in the 60s before becoming editor of Heswall and Neston News, Ellesmere Port Pioneer and Candis magazine. Also sub-editor of Wirral News, Liverpool Echo & Daily Post and features editor at Chester Chronicle.
Devoted wife to Alan, loving mother to Simon, mother-in-law to Linda, doting grandmother to Lauren, Mia and Fay and great grandmother to Billie and Jude. Caring sister to Tony, Michael and Ann, sister-in-law to Anna, Stan & Denise and an adored aunty. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
Funeral to be held at St Bartholomew's Church, Thurstaston on Friday 8th August at 1pm. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to be made to Claire House Children's Hospice.
