Eileen FayeHORNBY(née Elliott / Crabtree) Passed away peacefully at the Royal Derby Hospital on Saturday 24th June 2023, aged 69 years. Beloved wife to the late Kenneth. Daughter to the late Hilda & William. Much loved mum & mother-in-law to Andrew & Samantha, Stewart & Anna, Angela & Craig and her late children Colin & Lisa. Grandma to Samuel & Louis, Alexandra & William along with Bethany, Abigail, Caitlin & Freya. Sister & sister-in-law to Christine & Richard, Melvyn & Christine, Tony & Tracy, Pamela and the late Hazel & Peter. Aunty, great aunty, great great aunty & cousin to many of relatives, too many to mention. A friend to many people too. Funeral service to be held at St Edmund's Church, Shelton Lock, on Monday 17th July 2023 at 11:30am followed by burial at Spondon Cemetery. Donations are invited for Pancreatic Cancer Research. These can be made online at www.georgesimnett.co.uk or given at the service. My heartfelt condolences go out to Eileen's family and friends As a long-time "neighbour" of Eileen, Ken & Angela, I know how special of a person she was. I know other residents will agree... She will be truly missed on the Avenue!
Please accept my apologies for missing Eileen's send off today due to work (last few days of Term) she's not been far from my thoughts today though. Lots of love to you all xxx
