Enid EllenHAYDOCK(née MacRae) Latterly of Westhead and formerly of Moss Delph Lane, Aughton Passed away on 25th February 2023, aged 94 years. Re-United with her Beloved Husband, Edward "Leslie" Dorset Haydock. Dearly Loved Mother of Graham, Robin, and Martyn. Loving Aunt to Garard, Lesley, Chris, Mandy & Gill, and Great Aunt to Michael, Alice, Katie, William, Sophia, Lottie & Tyler. Loved and Greatly Missed by all her Family and Friends. Former Governor of Ormskirk Grammar School, Crosshall High School and Ashurst School. Chair of The Ormskirk Conservative Ladies Luncheon Club, Co-Facilitator for the establishment of the Association's women's groups: Maghull, Formby & Crosby. Disenchanted by policy changes, Enid allowed her political affiliations to lapse in the early 90's; when her interests moved over to more ecology related matters. Amongst her many voluntary achievements (during her active years), Enid was also involved in fundraising for the RNLI, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Barnardo's, Making Space, The Friends of Ormskirk Hospital and the Community Council's campaign to raise sufficient funds for the the installation of the first CT scan at Ormskirk Hospital. Funeral Service at Ormskirk Parish Church on Tuesday 28th March 2023 at 1.00pm, Followed by Committal at West Lanc's Crematorium.
