My deepest belated condolences to Lynn's family. She changed my life immeasurably and I have looked for her many times since I left Exeter college in 2001. I am truly heartbroken to hear of her passing. I am forever indebted to her, for both her teaching and her affection. She met me as a very troubled teenager and sent me to London filled with strength and ambition. I have no words great enough to express my gratitude for having known her. Rest in peace dear Lynn, so clever, so funny, so beautiful. It's been 24 years and I still think of you, and always will.

Lynn had been very friendly to me when I first arrived in Velwell Road some years ago and also when I left Velwell. Thank you Lynn. She loved her house and worked so hard in her garden. A special lady. X
