PeterGROGANof Fernhill Crescent, Stacksteads, died in Fairfield General Hospital on Tuesday, August 30, aged 65. Peter was born in Bacup where he lived all of his life. He owned his own business Dan Owen Ductwork Services Ltd, working all over the world. He was a former president and captain at Bacup Golf Club, supporter of Manchester United and enjoyed family holidays in his Florida home. He leaves behind his wife Jennifer, daughter Danielle, grandchildren Jamie-Leigh, Jack, James and Eva, sister Lynn, brother Andrew and their partners, Auntie Irene, nephews, nieces and many friends. A service will be held in the Chapel of Rest on Friday, September 9 at 1pm followed by interment in Bacup Cemetery at 1.30pm conducted by Jill Bolton.
