Barbara HannahGRENFELLBurnopfield, formerly of Blackhill Peacefully in hospital on 13th September, 2024 aged 71 years, Barbara (nee Tennant). Beloved Wife of Malcolm and loving Mam of Deborah. Will be sadly missed by all family and friends.

Friends please meet for service at St James church, Burnopfield on Monday 30th September at 11:30am followed by cremation at Mountsett Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to the St Bedes Unit, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gateshead.

Barbara was a "tour de force". When she entered a room you knew that she had arrived. She was the kindest, most generous person. If my wife Christina was in the garden, Barbara would always stop to talk to her, sometimes at some length. Barbara would always ask "how is Chrissie doing" at the Wednesday Club. She is already missed.
