Here is a heartfelt poem in loving memory of your brother-in-law Curtis, for his birthday:

In Loving Memory of Curtis
On this day, your birthday comes around,
Yet silence rests where laughter once was found.
Curtis, your spirit lingers in gentle ways,
In every precious memory that forever stays.

We light a candle, whisper your sweet name,
Love lives on, though life is not the same.
Each year that passes, we miss you more,
Your kindness, your smile, what we’re all wishing for.

The world feels quieter since you had to part,
But your light keeps glowing within every heart.
Though we can’t celebrate with you here today,
We carry your laughter and love, come what may.

Happy birthday, Curtis. We hold dear
Every lesson, every moment, now so clear.
Until we meet again, keep shining above—
Wrapped in our memories, wrapped in our love.

A very fine and upstanding man of our Jamaican community in Port Talbot. I am sad to learn of his passing. A great friend to my Dad, Dervin too. Rest in peace.

A really decent, hard working man of Port Talbot. I chatted over the years about 'Houses'. Always a worker and his family are proud of the man. No card playing now then in the Burgess Curtis? God bless your soul and sympathy to your wife and children.
