Dr Oliver Patrick (Frcp)GALPINPassed away at Glan Clwyd Hospital after a very short illness, aged 98. A kind, compassionate and much-loved man, Oliver was a dedicated and respected doctor, well known throughout Llandudno and the surrounding area. He was committed to his profession, his patients, and Llandudno Hospital. On retirement he became a founding member and former chairman of St David's Hospice. Devoted husband to the late Elaine, beloved father to Elizabeth and Richard, much loved father-in-law to Chris and Jackie, and proud grandpa to Kieran and Luke. He cherished his family deeply. Oliver had a great love of nature-especially the mountains-and spent many happy days walking and mountaineering. A true adventurer, he was widely travelled and well read, always curious and full of life. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral service to be held at 1 pm on Thursday, 22nd May at St Mary's Church, Conwy. Family flowers only. Donations, if wished, to St David's Hospice at tomowenandson.com/funeral-notices or c/o Tom Owen and Son Funeral Directors, 11 Bodhyfryd Road, Llandudno, Conwy, LL30 2DT. Tel: 01492 860280.
