Lesley was an amazing support to us, and to me personally. Talk about a friend in need being a friend indeed. Well, this was Lesley. She spent years, decades, helping cats living on the streets, cats who without her help would surely have died, so extreme were the circumstances of their struggles to find food and safe shelter - and along came Lesley. I can't believe we have lost her. A huge loss to us, Garston Animal Rescue, and a massive loss to the poor cats trying to somehow survive on our city's streets. Rest in peace Lesley - we'll somehow try to continue your extraordinary work. Love always, Nancy

Our dear friend Lesley, what are we going to do without you? Not only a trusted confidante but you brought so much fun with your humour and contagious laughter. We will miss sharing meals and putting the world to rights together. Life is so much duller without you Lesley. Thank you for being our encyclopedia when we worried about the cats but most importantly thank you for being you. Forever missed. Karen and John xx

In loving memory of our dear friend Lesley, a true animal lover , whose passing has left us heartbroken. A small donation to help the cats, just as she would have wished. John and Karen Cain.
