Eric John VernonEDEPassed away peacefully at GRH on 26th June 2025 aged 94 years, with his family at his side. Widower of Valerie, he is survived by his sister June, children Karen, Gareth and Kevin; son in law Andy, daughters in law Sarah and Ami; grandchildren Merrin, Lauree, Luc, Dani, Isabelle, Eliza and Carter; and great grandchildren Seren and Remarni.
Eric was elected City Councillor and served as Sheriff of Gloucester in 1988-89 and as Mayor of Gloucester in 1989-90. Eric was a keen supporter of the Rotary Club for many years. He will be missed by his family, friends and associates.
A private cremation will be held with a Service of Celebration of his life at a date to be announced.
