Hugh TimothyDRYHURST-ROBERTSSuddenly in hospital in Mugla, Turkey, of Bryniau, Conwy Old Road, Dwygyfylchi, aged 82 years, Captain of Penmaenmawr Golf Club in 2000. He leaves behind a partner Iona and son Jonathan. Farewell service at St Gwynin's Church, Dwygyfylchi on Tuesday, October 11th at 2.00pm prior to interment at Tan y Foel Cemetery. Family flowers only but donations in memory will be gratefully received by Plas Menai District Nurses equipment fund c/o Donald Roberts Funeral Directors, 46 Maes y Llan, Penmaenmawr, LL34 6RY telephone 01492 623280

In 2013, I married Hugh's Only son and became Mrs. Jonathan Dryhurst Roberts. We spoke over the phone but never physically met. I will Always love Jonathan. I saw many pictures of my husband and his Dad. While we were happily married, I enjoyed being his daughter-in-law Hugh was the kind of father-in-law that was only a phonecall away whenever we were struggling. I love to hear the wide range of stories about how High could be larger than life, Charismatic, and a bit on the ornery side,as well. From being a tuff rugby player to swimming in the Sea with his son, I imagine he lived a very active lifestyle. His presence and his energy was a force that will be missed. Rest in peace dear Man. May God shine his light upon you and welcome you into the Gates of heaven.
