William John FrancisDAVIESJohn Former Lord Mayor and Honorary Alderman of the City and County of Swansea. Sadly, on 25th December 2020, after a long illness, John, devoted and cherished husband of Sarah, loving and beloved father of Rachel, proud and adored Grampi of Kaden and Jegan, dear brother of Robert and the late Philip, much loved uncle of Rebecca, Andrew, Stephen, Mandy Sarah and Nicola. John will be sadly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. Funeral service to take place at Swansea Crematorium on Monday, 25th January 2021 at 2.00pm. Due to current restrictions, entrance to the service chapel will be by invite only. No flowers by request, but please donate, in John's memory direct to Parkinsons UK on www. parkinsons.org.uk or send cheques to Parkinsons UK, Head Office, 215, Vauxhall Bridge Rd, London SW1V 1EJ with a covering letter. John was a gentleman all his life and even when illness confronted him he still smiled through it. My deepest sympathy to all the family. I know you will miss your Brother greatly Robert but look back on the old days and have fond memories. These difficult times will make you stronger. Rest in total peace John my friend.
