With fond memories of lively conversations over tea and Kitkats and shared bus journeys.
With love from all your friends at United Reformed Church Longton, especially members of the Tuesday Welcome Space group.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Mr Cookson was my maths teacher at Trentham high In the 80s, He was a lovely man and a brilliant teacher. He would stand by the door as we all filed into school, Checking that everybody’s tie Was done correctly, And looked smart with clean shoes. He was a well respected and liked teacher, Always fair and patient with the pupils. Rest in peace, Mr. Cookson.

He was my wonderful maths teacher from 1987-1988, at Trentham High. I still use his catchphrase 'as clear as mud' which he used regularly when I had a blank expression on my face! May he rest in peace with his beloved wife.
