Sheila AnnCOLTMAN(formerly Shaw, née Beviss) 11/4/39 to 1/6/2022 Sheila Coltman sadly passed away at LOROS after a short illness. Sheila will be sadly missed by husband Steve, sons Andrew and Richard, brother Alan, grandchildren Olivia, Gregor, Matthew and Hanna, as well as many in-laws, cousins, nephews, nieces, colleagues and friends. Sheila was born in Long Eaton and after leaving Long Eaton Grammar School initially trained as an accountant. However, she soon decided teaching was a more fulfilling career, and after training taught in several schools in England and Canada. On returning to England, Sheila taught for many years in Old Dalby. After retirement, she was very active in charity work, including the Samaritans, and Oxfam, whose shop in Loughborough she ran for several years. In addition to this she was also an active member of Trinity Methodist Church in Loughborough and helped with many of their pastoral activities. In whatever spare time was left Sheila also managed to fit in many family holidays in Skegness, some long-distance walks, as well as visiting family in various parts of the country. The funeral service will be held on June 30th at 3.45 pm at Trinity Methodist Church, followed by cremation at Loughborough Crematorium. Family flowers only please, with donations, if desired, to Oxfam, LOROS and Cancer Research UK. For details contact: Loughborough Funeralcare, 11, Cattlemarket, 01509-260547.
