Dick was a good friend to me during our years at St. Mary’s (1970-73). Fondly remembered. RIP my friend.

I believe that Richard was a good friend of mine at St. Mary's College Twickenham 1970-73. We unfortunately lost touch after college and I have recently been trying to find him but this has proven difficult as I do not use social media! If it is the Richard I know then I am extremely sorry to hear of his death and offer my sincere condolences to his family. Richard Dines

I believe (perhaps wrongly) that Richard was my young school colleague at Clifton, and son of the art teacher and painter Peter Clay, who inspired us so much. Please excuse me if I have the wrong Richard, but otherwise I pass on my fond memories of a charming and friendly man who has died much too young, and my condolences to his family. Edward Steen
