RIP Mr Casson. You were the only teacher at St.Boniface College that could get me enthusiastic about rugby; I even enjoyed Maths in your classes. Your handwriting lessons turned my apalling scrawl into something legible, and inspired in me a love of 'fonts'. A legend.

He was my old PE teacher and was impressed that my dad was a star player for Albion in the 50's, but not impressed that I turned out to be what he called 'a soccer boy'.
He later forgave me and we got on well after the shock of my round ball leanings. Very sad to hear of his passing and condolences to the family.

Fond memories of Stan who taught me at Plymouth CFE in 90/91. Such a great, caring and inspirational man who had a lovely sense of humour and was a whirlwind on the badminton court, he won every match we played! Thoughts and prayers with his family at this sad time. Tania

Stan was a family friend, he used to take a teenage me canoeing, walking and cycling. I didn't realise it at the time but his actions and words had a big influence on my life, especially in enjoying & respecting the great outdoors. Don't ever take this for granted was one of his many quotes that has stayed with me.
