PhilipCAPEWELLPassed away peacefully on Thursday 27th October 2022 at the Royal Stoke University Hospital. Phil (retired Primary School Teacher), aged 81 years of Penkhull. Beloved husband of Marg, dad of Jue and Trev, father in law of Roger and Nicki, grandad of Amelie and Evie and brother of Mary, Jan and Ian. Phil will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all of his family and friends. A private Committal Service will precede a Service of Thanksgiving at the Assembly Hall, Chamberlain Avenue, Stoke on Wednesday 9th November 2022 at 12.15pm. Would friends wishing to attend, kindly meet at the Assembly Hall. Donations in lieu of flowers will be forwarded to the Alzheimer's Society. Phil was a kind, supportive colleague. I remember his inspiring assemblies. He had a way with words, he told wonderful stories and wrote such nice letters. He was a true gentleman and will be sadly missed. Karen Tilsley

Mr Capewell my maths teacher in primary school im 51 now and I was 11 when he learned me my times tables and never forgot all my times tables so thank you for being such a good teacher rip
