I’ll cherish the memories ‘DJ’, thank you for being our friend, for your kindness and sense of fun your songs and whistling tunes, Xmas morning Buck’s Fizz with you and Pat, wedding day reassurance, Birthday parties, holidays, sad days, happy days and crazy days. I shall always remember you singing “I’m a Gnu” at the top of your voice at the safari park, getting drenched in the rain in Blackpool and buying new clothes to change into, staggering home from the proms singing Rule Britannia when the taxi didn’t show up! Rescuing cows in the field and kittens in the canal. We had an adventure and I am proud to have known your friendship. Reunited with dear Pat and the beloved mum you so loved to talk about.
