Glenys ElizabethBENNETTOf Mickleover. Passed away peacefully at Lavender Lodge Care Home on Saturday 23rd December 2023, aged 78 years.

Loved Wife of Tony. Mother to Phil and Neil. Grandmother to Archie and Harry and Great Grandmother to Francesca and Freddie.

A funeral service will be held at Markeaton Crematorium (Main Chapel) on Tuesday 16th January at 3.30pm.

Family flowers only please. Donations can be made in loving memory of Glenys and will be forwarded to Lavender Lodge Nursing Home. A donation box will be provided on the day.

Our deepest condolences to the family. We are saddened to hear of her passing. Glenys was Such a lovely lady who I remember from my days at playschool in the old hut on vicarage Park. She was One of the really kind and patient leaders. Thank you for making playschool a positive experience. A few years later my mum & Glenys worked at a nursing home. my mum has fond memories of the what a lovely lady Glenys was & remembers the many laughs they shared.
