Sir, you were my Junior 4 teacher at Broadhurst CP school in 1968/69. At this time you were teaching our class and also carrying out the duties of the headteacher as she was absent with a longterm sickness. You did this all along with coaching the schools sports teams. You were a true role model for me both in the classroom and on the sports fields. An excellent and well respected teacher that I continue to talk about to my family. I would like to thank you for the time and effort you invested in myself and many others that have made us all better people. God bless to Sir with Love.

Rest in peace Mr Beckett, you was an excellent teacher and headmaster. You said on my school report "always aim high Susan " and I did just that.

I joined the junior school the year Mr.Beckett left and Mr.Brown took over but I only ever remember hearing good things about him. It was the first time I remember students and teachers being emotional. God bless, Sir.
