BettyBAWDENPeacefully at RCH Treliske on 27th February 2020, Betty Geraldine Bawden aged 91 of Perranporth. Much loved mum of Adrian, Joy, Nigel and Shaun, a loving nan and great nanny, and partner of Phil Potter. A celebration of Betty's life will be held at 1.30pm on Monday 16th March at Penmount Crematorium, Truro in the Kernow Chapel. Family flowers only please but donations in lieu for Parkinsons UK will be gratefully received by retiring collection or may be sent to: Bob Chudleigh, John Nicholls Funeral Service, 12, St. Pirans Road, Perranporth, TR6 OBH. Betty was a great source of support and kindness living near me in Perranporth . Betty kept me laughing with funny stories of her life, fed me with her great baking , and loved my 2 little ones dearly .
I very much missed such a lovely neighbour when we had to move away, and with it I lost out hearing all about how proud Betty was with her children and grandchildren and their lives .
The story of her cycling to Perranporth after first making pasties for everyone I shall remember particularly as well as lots of laughter with Jim in the Perranporth kitchen .
