BATEY(Heaton). Peacefully at home with his loving family on 19th October 2013, aged 63 years, John, dear son of the late Kitty and Len, much loved partner of Brenda, loving Pops of Mandy and fatherin-law of Lee, precious grandad of Rachael and Libby and great grandad of Grace, also a dear brother, brotherin-law and uncle. Special thanks to Dr. Rutt and all the nurses that looked after him and also the staff and consultants from the R.V.I. and Freeman Hospitals. Would family and friends please meet for a celebration of John’s life at the West Road Crematorium on Monday 28th October at 2.45pm. Family flowers only please, retiring collection if desired to the Sir Bobby Robson Foundation. All welcome afterwards for refreshments to The Corner House, Heaton. “Forever in our hearts and never forgotten” .
