JerzyBASIURSKIIn loving memory of the late Jerzy Basiurski, husband of Lidia, former husband of Belinda, father of Kathryn, Richard and Chris and grandfather (dziadzio) to Adam, James, Ellie, Alicia, Jnr and Simon Jerzy was born in Diddington, Cambridgeshire, the only son of Ludwik and Stasia Basiurski, both members of the Polish military who served in WWII and settled in the UK afterwards. He lived most of his life in and around Manchester, a proud Pole and proud Mancunian and avid supporter of Manchester United and latterly of FC United of Manchester. A businessman, he and Belinda ran a family business in Altrincham for over 40 years, specialising in building materials for temperate climates, building close relationships and friendships with customers He loved sports and games, especially football and tennis, he was an expert chess player and loved hiking. He will be sorely missed RIP
