I just happened to think of Clive, with whom I used to fly, and looked him up and I am so sad to hear he passed a decade ago.
I have fond memories of Clive back in our at Compton Abbas Airfield days.
My condolences to Anne and all.

I was in my 20s when i worked for you namely in the 60s, I had no Parents to shape my life, but you and your Father were always their for me. When i got married you helped me and my then new family, to find Rented accommodation and later purchase my own property. I have never forgotten the leg up the ladder you gave me to this very day. and i built on that, yes Clive and made a success of my life, as you always said i would, i wanted to meet up with you again, but many years of hard work and living in Spain, the years have just flown by, i am now in my mid 70s, i will never forget the support you gave me and George, always, both of you, have my highest respect and be in my thoughts.
