Passed away peacefully in Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gateshead on Monday 11th August 2025, aged 80 years. Loving daughter of the late Gladys and Thomas ‘Jonner’ Johnson (Winlaton), beloved wife of the late Alan, much-loved mother of Gary and Ian Stephenson, dearest mother-in-law of Lisa and Jo, cherished nana of Laura, Liam and Megan, and loving great-nana of Jake and Theo.
She will be dearly missed by all that knew and loved her.
A private cremation will take place on Friday 22nd August 2025 in accordance with Valerie’s wishes.
