LouiseAPPLETONOf Clitheroe, suddenly passed away at home on 13th June 2025 aged 55 years.

Louise grew up in Blackburn, Lancashire and went to Westholme School, followed by Blackburn College.

After College, Lou went on to work at Peppermint Place in Blackburn and worked alongside her best friend also named Louise. She loved to travel and in her early to mid 20's, she decided to go travelling and ended up in Sweden where Lou worked as a Nanny. She also worked for First Leisure and managed night clubs all over the UK.

Lou liked to travel around the UK and worldwide later on in life, and found herself in places like London, Oxford and America.

Unfortunately Louise lost her parents Norma and Philip. She leaves behind her brother Andrew, best friend Louise, God Son Alex and other family and friends.

After dads passing 3 years ago, Lou found herself taking a gap year and went to stay with her brother Andrew who lives in Los Angeles, California. Lou returned back home last year and moved in with her best friend where she sadly passed away earlier this month.

She will be missed by many.

Lou's Funeral will take place on Monday 7th July 2025 at 11am at Accrington Crematorium.

I worked with Louise in the 1980’s - she was such a bubbly person and always positive. At that point she was a receptionist in Blackburn and was a firm favourite with all business owners within the managed workspace premises. What a loss to her friends - my deepest sympathy.
