Peter FrederickANDREWSAged 98 years It is with great sadness that Peter's family announce the sad news of his passing. Peter, also known as Andy, a Flight Sergeant during the second world war flew with 10 Squadron in Halifax bombers, having taken part in 19 operations during his service. Peter survived being shot down out of the sky over Denmark on 14th February 1945 and held captive as a prisoner of war. Peter is survived by his wife, children and grandchildren. He will be sorely missed by all who had the honour to know him. Funeral service to celebrate Peter's remarkable life will be held at the Kent & Sussex Crematorium on Thursday, 1st December at 10.45am No flowers but donations in Peter's memory can be made to 'Royal British Legion' c/o Abbey Funeral Services, 173 High Street, Tonbridge, TN9 1BX.
