John GeorgeALLENWe are sad to announce that John Allen sadly passed away peacefully at home on Friday 22nd March, aged 65. Having fought a short illness, John sadly leaves his partner and more recently husband Andrew. John shall be missed greatly by the whole family; nephew Scott, great nephews Logan and Kreed, his sister, aunts, uncles and cousins, mother-in-law Joan, sister and brother-in-law and their children and grandchildren. Many friends, from the business community, many customers and clients over the 40 years he served as proprietor of Allen's bakery before retiring in Sept '22. Service to be held at the Wenallt Chapel, at Thornhill Crematorium, Tuesday 9th April at 10:30am. Single stem flowers only to be sent to funeral directors Roy Larcombe, Carlisle Street, Splott with donations in lieu to be collected at the funeral to support the wonderful service of Velindre Cancer Centre, Whitchurch. John's final request if anyone wishes; they can join the celebration of John's life by wearing anything in his favourite colours of blue and orange.
