We first met Kate and family in at a care of Police Survivors Memorial in Liverpool Cathedral in 2008, as fellow survivors of our loved ones.
Kate was always a Mum first to William and George. Over the years she'd grown into a special young women, its so sad to see her go, she fought her illness to the end.
Bless you Kate, your be remembered in our hearts forever

Kate, ZTP as you were known on what was one of the best rota response times of my career 🥰. We all had such a laugh and were an amazing team with a fab Sergeant in Emma. I’m so sorry 😔 for not knowing you were poorly and I can only hope you are no longer in pain now and resting. Some of my best memories on rota are the stapler in the atrium incident on a night shift, the guy down the embankment that caused the whole of Central to nearly come out and help us and the crazy disorder that we took on single handed together at 3am in the morning. Sometimes I think you were the one that gave me the courage to be ZTS and take no nonsense 😊. What a character you were, strong, passionate and confident. Love to your beloved boys. Until we meet again and god bless you ♥️ xx

I have had the privilege of working alongside Kate, from which a friendship was forged.
I was part of the guard of honour for her late husband Andy who was taken far too early. My thoughts are with George & William at this very sad time, as well as family and friends.
I will miss our Christmas conversations about Kate’s fav
‘Home Alone’ movies.. Kate a lovely individual who will be missed.Xx
