I met colin at the singalong at the ship pub his monologues and comedy song were great , he was a very good builder and plasterer and in his 70s he plastered my bathroom and used 13 bags of plaster on one wall. I thought it was a bit much until I tiled the wall which was very easy because the wall was prefectly plum a perfect gentleman will be greatly missed Richard & Valerie Thorpe xxx

I remember my happy brother, for being able to turn his hand to anything, especially his sunday lunches and amazing Yorkshire puddings. Colin enjoyed going to the pub to sing and do stand up jokes, he has a great sense of humour second to none. He used to walk to flush house every day to get his newspaper. He did all the plastering for me at the trout farm. I will miss and love him dearly, Brian.

The rest of the family remember him for his wonderful funny stories told in a broad Yorkshire accent, especially the one about the dogs that hung their bottoms up and getting them muddled, so that is why to this day dogs sniff each other's bottoms to try and find their own, love you Colin sue lan Gail and lesley xxx The stories are now being told to our children.
