Nicholas JamesTHORNEOur darling Nick sadly passed away surrounded by his loving family at his home in Goring Road, Llanelli on 5th June 2025 at the age of 52, after an illness borne with great courage and dignity.

Devoted husband of Rhian, adoring father of Efa and Caio, precious son of Marilyn and the late Bill, caring son-in-law of Dian, loving brother of Jason and Jamie, a dear brother-in-law of Lindsay and Hannah, a treasured uncle to his nieces and well loved by Lisa and all his numerous cousins and a loyal, wonderful lifelong friend to many

Nick's zest for life will never be forgotten, his hard-work ethics were inspirational, his enthusiasm was infectious, always full of fun and laughter which will be sorely missed by all who knew him and loved him.

So many wonderful memories with our dear cousin, Nick - from holidays in Pembroke, Porthcawl, London to seeing the Swans and nights out in Llanelli. The anticipation and excitement of seeing our cousins was always palpable.

Growing up, I was never sure I would see the day that Nick would be happier than when he saw the Swans win, until we saw him with his beloved family in recent years.

Nick was a truly special person. He was always just as he was. Funny, kind, loyal, honourable.

So proud to call him my cousin.

There was and only ever will be one Nick Thorne.

Nick was such a nice guy, loved by everyone whom was lucky enough to know him, and once met never forgotten!

Friendly, humourous and not a bad bone in his entire body, he will be so badly missed by so many people.

Take care up there in Heaven, til we meet again my friend...RIP Nick x

Nobody who spent time with our wonderful nephew, Nick, could fail to be cheered up by his positive and caring outlook.
We all benefited from knowing an unique character. Huge thanks to Rhian, Efa and Caio for making the last few precious years the best of his life.

My son and l have fond memories of Nick starting in the business opposite our office in Station Road in Burry Port. We are so sorry and saddened to hear this sad news at such a young age. As well as our mutual friendship in Station Road we had the privilege of dealing with Nick and his late father when we sold our bungalow in Burry Port. With our heartfelt condolences to all members of the family
Emyr Phillips.
