MonicaSTEVENSIt is with great sorrow to announce the passing of my mother, who passed peacefully at her care home, Brockworth House on Easter Sunday shortly after I held her hands and said goodbye.
My mum was a vibrant and happy lady who loved life and will be always remembered for her smile and sense of humour.
She was wife to my father Derek Gordon Potts, living a life of travel and adventure, with an abundance of friends from her early days of working at Cavendish House.
Later wife of George Alfred Stevens, who adored her and her step daughters, Ruth, Anne, Lynne and Anne's children Emma and Amy, she continued to bring happiness to all that knew her.
My mother's heart was open, she believed in living life to the full, and being kind to everyone from all cultures and all walks of life. She will be greatly missed but her smile will shine always.
