“Aunty Ol” was an extraordinary colleague and such a compassionate school nurse. Universality adored and respected across Gowerton School.
I was privileged to know a work with her.
Just recently I enjoyed her company sharing poetry and talking of old times at school. I shall cherish the memory.
God bless you Olive.
Love to all the family, John XXX

I was so very sad when I heard that Olive had died. I met her in 1979 at Bath University where we both studying Open University. We immediately became friends and continued our friendship when we each returned home.

Olive was working as a nurse at Gowerton Comprehensive School and she was helping to raise money for a school trip to Canada. I believe that Arun too was going on this trip she invited me to one of her fundraising events at Gorwydd Lodge and it was here that I met my husband-to-be. I'm sure that Olive secretly had this in mind.

Olive was a very special guest at our wedding in June 1984.

Roger and I, Thea, send our condolences to all the family. She will be missed by many, remembered by many and always will have a special place in many hearts.

What a wonderful and lovely lady, my memories go back a really long time, connected by Swansea Round Table, Swansea Tangent Club and Swansea Branch of Save the Children. The moments we spent via all those events were and still are very special, with Olive’s delightful company, mixed with sad moments and also many amazing happy memories. Olive will be sadly missed and I offer my sincere condolences to her Family am no Friends. Fly with the Angels my dear friend.

So sorry to hear the sad news of the passing of Mrs Midha, I knew her as a customer where I worked on the Marina. Became friends with her and (the other Olive)😊 The three of us met many times for tea. Both such lovely people. Wonderful memories. RIP Lovely Lady 💕
