MichaelMCCLELLANMick Mcclellan aged 63 sadly passed away in his sleep Wednesday 27th August surrounded by his family.

Mick was a loving and extremely proud dad of Jodie, Katie, Jess, Scarlett & Isabel. Proud Grandad of Charlie, Ethan, Harry, Sophie and Alice. Loving brother to George, Paul & Jean.

He was the much loved husband of Jo for 20 years and was admired and loved by many. He was adventurous, brave, kind and always full of energy. We will all miss him dearly.

He had many great achievements in his life. He was a footballer, a sprinter, ran marathons, loved walking and the outdoors and above all loved cycling. He cycled Lands End to John O' Groats in 5 days and raised lots of money for various charities. He fought a massive fight against motor neurone disease for 14 years and did so with style. He will be missed and never ever forgotten and will be remembered as a legend!

Donations can be made to the MND Society as per Mick's wishes.

No funeral service will take place as Mick didn't want a fuss.

Devastated to have lost the legend who would convince younger me that he was a werewolf every time we went camping together. I feel so lucky to have had such a caring, charismatic man as my uncle. Rest in peace Uncle Mick-Mack you will be missed dearly we all love you so so so much. Sending love to all the family xxx

Mick you was my idol and the funniest wittiest guy I knew and grateful to have called you my uncle . You always managed to put a smile on peoples faces no matter what you was going through always had everyone in stitches . You was an inspiration and the reason I put my running shoes on and got out for a run on the days I never wanted to . I know you never wanted a fuss mate but you’re getting an old fashioned McClellan send off when I get back home and I will be raising a few for you . I hope where ever you are you are at peace . Sending love to all my family at this Sad time xxx
