4 years ago we had the good fortune of pitching our caravan next to yours.
We have had amazing weekends,( and all the other times spent together) some not so well remembered due to your generous hospitality.
The smirk and the glint in your eyes while Nicola and me S... talked will stay with us both.
That glint in your eyes lasted until the very end.
We are very lucky to have had you and Nicola in our lives.
Rest In Peace our friend Ivan

To my uncle Ivan-
Words cannot begin to explain the hole you’ve left behind. You were truly one of life’s best people, no malice, no disrespect, just a one of a kind person who I’m honoured to have been raised by.
To think, there was once a time I would say “I’m not a fan of his” to now, where I’d proudly proclaim I’m your biggest fan. Clearly, 5 year old me didn’t get your wit.
What I’d do now to see that cheeky smile taunting me.
You truly gave me the best advice, that late night with you changed my outlook on life, and for that I’ll forever be grateful.
I’ll carry your advice and witty nature and try to always look on the bright side, even now.
Love always.

To my amazing auntie and cousins, your dedication to Ivan is outstanding I truly can’t explain how proud I am of you all, he was one lucky man. And we’re all so lucky to have you guys, we will always be there for each-other.
I love you all x

Really can’t believe your gone mate I will probably think of you every day for the rest of my life, so many good times together over a span of 35 years. In life you meet so many people but you are the type I will remember for all the right reasons, you never judged anyone just sat back and took it all in then give your view on things, you were an amazing father to your amazing children who are decent people due to the upbringing from you and Nicola, you were an amazing son to Freda and Barry and an amazing brother to Lorraine and John and also a makeshift brother to Judith who adored you. Also a Nephew to aunty Ann and uncle John who always seen you as a son. You were an amazing husband to your beloved Nicola, You and Nicola were a unit built for each other and I know that you loved each other so much. You have a vast array of friends due to who you were. You were so clever there was nothing you couldn’t do and always on the go working long hours to carve a life out for your beloved family. Leann only knew you you for around 5 years but adored you and loved to be around you and the kids miss you dearly. Heaven is in for a treat and even a few chants, keep a seat for me a seat at St Peter’s Bar brother I will see you there, sleep tight
