Elizabeth JoanHOWARDPassed away peacefully at St Joseph's Hospice, Thornton on 8th September 2025, aged 87 years.
The dearly loved wife of Jimmy, with whom she shared 66 wonderful years of marriage. Also a cherished mother to Pauline, mother-in-law to Colin, adored nan to Andrew (and wife Kirsty), Philip (and wife Lucy), and Elizabeth (and husband Zak), and a proud, much-loved great-nan.
Joan will be remembered always for her kindness, warmth, and sense of humour.
A requiem mass will take place for Joan on Wednesday 1st October 2025 at Our Lady of Walsingham, Strand Park Avenue, Bootle L30 3SA at 10am. Followed by a burial at Bootle Cemetery at 11:30am
