So sorry to hear of Gwyneth's passing. Myself, Lisa, my sister Ceri and our father John, got to know Gwyneth whilst visiting our mother Rona, who was on the same ward in Morriston Hospital Oct 2024. We liked Gwyneth as soon as we met her. She was so young in her ways, warm and funny. If she wasn't reading a book or scrolling through her phone, she would be off visiting the other patients on the ward or hanging around the nurses station having a good chat. She made being in the hospital bearable. She always let us know how Rona was doing, and helped her cope during her month long stay in hospital, which we appreciated and shall never forget. There was a familiarity when talking to Gwyneth, it was like we'd known her for years. She was a proud Pontardawe girl, just like Rona's mother, and our nanna. Also, our dad John is a Bonymaen boy, like Gwyneth's husband Alan, who, it turned out, he has known since childhood! Our thoughts are with Alan, who has lost his soul mate, and our condolences to the rest of her family. We will never forget this lovely lady, God bless you Gwyneth

From Lisa, Ceri, John, and Rona
