RonaldCHEGWINSadly, on Monday 10th February 2025, whilst in the wonderful care of Ward C5 at the Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, Ron passed peacefully away aged 89 years
Treasured memories of Ron, a devoted and much loved husband of Rose, in the 67th year of their marriage. A precious dad of Elaine and the late Angela. Much respected father in law of Peter and the late Christopher. A beloved grandad of Philip, Nicola, Charlotte and Rebecca. An adored great grandad of Elizabeth, Christopher and Aneurin. A loved brother in law, uncle and a good friend to many who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
A service to celebrate Ron's life will be held at St Nicolas Church, Great Coates, on Thursday 6th March 2025 at 12 noon followed by a committal at Scartho Road Cemetery.
By request, family flowers only, but donations in Ron's memory, to benefit Ward C5 at the Diana Princess of Wales Hospital can be sent directly to,

What a special day we spent together as we were brought together by the sad loss of our lovely Uncle Colin. How precious that time has become four generations of the Chegwin family from the eldest, Uncle Ronnie, to the youngest being only 10 weeks old. We shared our stories and our memories. We laughed together and wished the day could last forever. When we were with you Uncle Ronnie it was like having our Dad back. You meant the world to us. Sweet dreams in heaven we love you and will miss you always. All our love to Aunty Rose, Elaine, Peter and all the family. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Corinne, Phil and family.
