On Wednesday 11 June 2025, Vanessa passed away peacefully at her home, aged 74.

Devoted wife of Neil, beloved mother of Kelly and Tom and proud grandmother of Owen, Megan, Sam, Leo and Ivy.

On Friday 11 July, a family cremation will be held at 10.00 at Treswithian Downs, Camborne, followed at 11.30 by a service of thanksgiving at Mullion Methodist Chapel. Formal or casual dress welcomed.

Family flowers only please but donations can be made in memory of Vanessa to the Motor Neurone Disease Association, via this page, through a retiring collection or sent to the funeral directors below.

Vanessa was a dear friend - such a gentle, kind lady, always smiling and interested in so many things. She must have been a lovely teacher - so nurturing and full of enthusiasm. I’m going to miss her - as will all those whose lives she touched.
