Chris and I met in the 1970s, I remember helping put a radio mast on his Chilwell house back then. He was always sincere, kind, concerned and often helpful to others. Pat & I had lots of good times and meals together with Chris & Yvonne and he was a brilliant Best Man at our wedding 3 years ago. Chris also knew and spoke his own mind and is impossible to forget. RIP Chris. John & Pat

I only had the opportunity of getting to know Chris for a small number of years, but over those years we met often and I grew extremely fond of him.

It was a pleasure knowing Chris. He was funny, sincere, thoughtful and considerate of others. His smile reminded me of my Grandad, his birth Dad, as they both had the same cheeky twinkle in their eyes when they smiled.

Thank you Chris for welcoming me into your life and home, I will miss you a lot.

Chris meant a lot to me as my uncle I never got to say goodbye and to thank him for all the time and love he put into seeing my life improve.

He had a lot of drive in his life always seemed happy and always there to help.

I wish we had reconnected sooner and that we had more time to make memories and for you to see me grow into the person you wanted me to be.

I will never forget this and have you in my heart always

Thank you for being a great uncle
