I was so very sorry to learn of Roger's passing. I have fond memories of Roger and thank him for his commitment, time, energy & enthusiasm he put into leading the Youth Forum alongside having huge family commitments & working full time. He was brave enough to take many young people to the MAYC London weekend, he’d arrive in the morning looking tired from a busy week, Paul Young would stoke him up with strong coffee and off we would go, him driving a bus full of excited young people to experience a weekend of fun & spiritual refreshment. He & Sheila opened their house on many a Sunday evening to host Youth Forum. I value the friendships I made there, some who form my friendship group today and look back on those days with great fondness. I an sorry I am not able to attend the funeral today.
Sending love to all his family
God Bless
Love Sarah Roe ( nee Hardy)
