Charles was a much loved uncle. Since my childhood he was always there for me and my family – in good times and bad. He was a fun-loving, caring, kind family man. The memories remain but I do miss him.

I have known Charles since he started courting my cousin Glen when we were all much younger or not even born.

Since then I have visited them in Pineway many times, mostly accompanied by my wife Wei Lin and sometimes with our boys, Sam & Ben. We have always had a great time and received a generous-hearted welcome, as I’m sure have other family visitors.

I’m also aware Charles has made major contributions to other non-family communities and will be much missed by many.

Condolences to Glen, Jamie and Matthew.
