DorothyWEBBFormer teacher at St. Mary's Primary School, Newcastle Dorothy aged 103 years, peacefully at rest on Saturday 29th July 2023 at Heyfields Nursing Home, Tittensor. Formerly of Newcastle, now reunited with her beloved husband John. The dearly loved mother of Michael, David and Elizabeth, a dear mother-in-law of Teresa, a much loved and treasured granny to Alex, Sylvie and Marian, also a dearly loved and cherished great granny to Bella, Dylan and Osian. Dorothy will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by all her family and friends. Dorothy's family would like to express sincere thanks to all the staff at Heyfields Nursing Home for the exceptional care, support and love they showed to Dorothy and previously to John, as well as to all the family: you have all been amazing. Requiem Mass to take place at St. Dominic's RC Church, Margaret Street, Stone: 21st August 2023 at 10:15am Would friends wishing to attend kindly meet at the church, and (optionally) bring a single flower or a tiny bunch of flowers (e.g. from your garden) to place beside the coffin as you arrive. You would also be welcome for refreshments afterwards at St.Dominic's Parish Social Centre. There will then be a private cremation at Bradwell Crematorium. Messages of condolence may be left on the funeral director's website www.kevinlowndsfuneralservices.com and donations would be gratefully received for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice in memory of Dorothy. . This beautiful lady was my teacher for a year. May she rest in peace. and may the Lord Jesus Christ and Our Blessed Lady console her family and friends. Thank you Mrs. Webb for being so patient, so kind. so gentle, and such a wonderful teacher.
