SydneySTARKIESydney was born on 4 April, 1926 in Burnley, Lancashire. He died on Monday, September 18, 91 years old at his home in Amersham with his family. In his life, he experienced more than most. 1944-48 in the Armed Forces, followed by a local government post. He became a professional with Northamptonshire County Cricket Club from 1951-56. He loved all sport and in later years his golf. Avid football watcher, he followed Burnley and Liverpool FC in particular. He qualified as an accountant and travelled overseas to work in Trinidad, still keeping up with his cricket! Returning to the UK in 1964 to work in London and eventually getting involved in sponsorships concerning cricket and soccer. He will be hugely missed by his family, beloved wife Beryl, daughters Ann and Susan, grandchildren - James, Jessica, Julie, Jennifer, Josette and two great grandchildren Sydney and Genevieve.
