HildaHOLLINGSWORTHHilda Hollingsworth, of Sharneyford, Bacup died peacefully at home on Sunday, January 8, aged 93 years. A service will be held at Central Methodist Church, Bacup on Wednesday, January 25 at 1.15pm conducted by the Rev David Burrow followed by cremation at Burnley Crematorium. Born in Sharneyford where she lived all of her life, Hilda had been a lifelong member of Sharneyford Methodist Chapel and later Central Methodist Church both in Bacup. Her interests included baking, dancing, sewing, knitting, walking and gardening. Widow of the late Dennis who died in 1999, she leaves daughters Christine Dawson and Jean Carter, granddaughters Victoria and Emma and her husband Martin, great granddaughters Grace and Isabelle, brother-in-law Harry, nephews, nieces and many friends.
