I was sad to hear that Mr Hart had passed away. I worked for him from 1991 until 2006. He was more than an employer he was my friend. We spent so much time together in Benghazi, Libya. There are so many stories, but I will share one with you all. Mr Hart had a back problem so one day when he woke in Tripoli one of the locals suggested he goes 50kl East to see an old man in the village to get it put right. So of We went and after around 2 hours we found the man. Mr Hart was told to strip to his underwear and lay on his stomach, which he did. The man took out a piece of wood and rubbed it on Mr Hart's back. You could smell the skin burning. After about 20 minutes of this the treatment was over and we returned to the office in Tripoli. Next morning the back pain had gone but the the skin was so inflamed it needed doctor attention. The pain lasted for some 3 weeks but he felt it was worth. But his back remained a problem and a scar remained.

That was DDH.

Rest in peace Mike Conniff
